Press Release - Crafting a new future for 378 year old family farm

In 1639, Oliver Walsh bought Ballykilcavan farm, near Stradbally, Co. Laois. 378 years later, his 8-times great-grandson David is now diversifying by converting an 18th century grain store and millhouse into a new craft brewery that will source 100% of the barley it uses from the farm.

Tasting night - November 17th 2016

We are organising a preview tasting night in Napper Tandy's in Stradbally to showcase and get some more feedback on our beers before their official release in April next year. If you'd like to come and try our beers before they're on sale anywhere, then you'd be very welcome to come along. The event is completely free (over 18s only).

We are organising a tasting night in Kavanagh's in Portlaoise to showcase and get feedback on our beers before their official release next year. Be one of the first to taste our bottle-conditioned pale ale and dark ale and let us know what you think of them. The event is free, but numbers are limited.
